Adding the NFL+ Premium upgrade to your ESPN Unlimited plan is a brilliant way to bring additional NFL coverage to your own wide world of sports. Here's how to successfully activate your NFL+ Premium package with ESPN Unlimited.
There are a few different methods:
- I added NFL+ Premium at the same time I signed up for ESPN Unlimited
- I added NFL+ Premium after I signed up for ESPN Unlimited

I purchased the ESPN Unlimited with NFL+ Premium upgrade, but I never activated it
I added NFL+ Premium at the same time I signed up for ESPN Unlimited:
1. When you sign up for ESPN Unlimited and choose to "add" NFL+ Premium to your plan, you will be taken through a sign-up flow where you enter your billing info. Once you've done that, you'll be presented with this screen:
2. Where it says "Activate NFL+ Premium", you will see a button underneath that says "Activate". Click on this button to take you to an NFL landing page that says "Sign in to your NFL Account". See below:
3a. If you already have an NFL account, enter the email address associated with your NFL account. This will prompt you to then enter your password. Once you've entered your password, your NFL+ Premium account will be activated, and you will be taken to your account management page. See below:
3b. If you do not already have an NFL account, click the "Sign Up" option under "Don't have an NFL account?" You'll then be taken through a sign-up flow. Once you've completed the flow, press "Create Account" at the bottom, and then you'll have an NFL+ Premium account activated.
4. Now that your account is activated, you can log into the NFL app or NFL.com, and NFL+ will be available. For the app, it's an icon at the bottom in the middle of your screen, where on NFL.com, it will be an icon in the upper right-hand corner. See below:
I added NFL+ Premium after I signed up for ESPN Unlimited:
1. You've already got ESPN Unlimited, but now you want to add NFL+ Premium. Start by navigating to the "Manage my Account" page in the upper right-hand corner, where the profile icon sits. See below:
2. Once you've navigated to the "Manage my Account" page, you'll see your active subscriptions and an option for "Add-Ons". In the Add-Ons row, you'll select the "Explore" button. See below:
3. You'll then select the NFL+ Premium plan under "Manage other services" and press "Review changes" in the bottom right-hand corner.
4. This will then take you through the account linking flow, where you will either log into or sign up for an NFL account. (Screenshots of this process are shared in the previous example in steps 2 and 3.) Upon completion of this flow, you can now enjoy NFL+ Premium content on the NFL website or the NFL app.
I purchased the ESPN Unlimited with NFL+ Premium upgrade, but I never activated it:
1. In this example, you will need to retroactively activate your NFL+ Premium subscription by first going to the ESPN account management page. See below:
2. Once you've clicked on "Manage my Account", you will need to scroll down to where it says "Your other services". Next to "Stream on NFL+", you will see a " Activate " button. See below:
Click on this button, and you will be taken through a flow to activate your NFL+ Premium account. Once this is complete, you will have access to NFL+ Premium in the NFL app and on the NFL.com Website.
