How to Reset a Forgotten Password

If you forgot your ESPN account password, follow the steps below to reset it.

Step 1: Start the Sign-In Process

1. Click the Profile icon in the top-right corner of the ESPN.com homepage.

2. Select Log In from the left-side menu.

3. Click Need help signing in?

Step 2: Request a Passcode

1. Enter the email address associated with your ESPN account.

2. A temporary 6-digit passcode will be sent to that email address.

Step 3: Enter the Passcode

1. Enter the temporary 6-digit passcode from the email.

2. Select Continue. You can now access your account.

Step 4: Set a New Password (Recommended)

Although you can finish signing in immediately, it is recommended that you set a new password.

1. Select Reset Password.

2. Enter your new password.

   • NOTE: Passwords are case-sensitive. You can select Show Password to confirm what you entered.

3. Select Done.

4. Select Save to update your password.

You're All Set

Your password has now been updated, and you will be signed in to your ESPN account!
