There are some common reasons why a waiver pickup may not be processed. The 3 most likely reasons your claim failed are:
- A team manager with higher waiver priority entered in a claim for the same player.
- The player you entered to drop is no longer on your team.
- The offer amount you entered was less than a competing offer from another team manager.
All managers in the league can check Waiver Report/Offers Report in your league to check the details on every waiver/FAB claims.
Please note: Recent Activities might not show the best timeline of each waiver claims/offer.
Under your team page -> Players -> Waiver Report or Offers Report:
Sometimes waivers are not processed for specific rule violations. These situations are less common and can sometimes be confusing for Fantasy Managers.
If a rule is violated causing the waiver claim to not process correctly, you will see a blank entry in the recent activity, rather than the successful claim.
Some of the rule violations that could result in a waiver claim not processing are:
- Teams are not allowed to make claims if they have an ineligible player in the IR slot. If you have a healthy player in IR the claim will not process.
- Some leagues enforce position limits. There may be a maximum number of players per position allowed. If the player being added would cause the team's roster to exceed a specific position limit the claim will not process.
- Claims may not process if there are incoming players from pending trades. If a team has a pending trade that is imbalanced (2 players for 1, or 3 players for 2 etc.) the extra player in the trade may use up the roster slot required for the incoming waiver claim. The claim will be rejected to avoid exceeding the maximum roster size.
