After a waiver period has concluded, or in a league that does not use waivers, all players will be listed as free agents. Free agents can be added at any time by following these steps:
USING THE ESPN FANTASY APP
Click on the Players page. The default view will show the Top Three available players by position. Alternatively, you may search for a player.
Tap on the player you want. You will see a green "Add" button (or a yellow "Claim" button if still within the waivers period).
Select the player you would like to drop
Confirm the transaction. If the player is a Free Agent, the transaction will execute immediately and the new player will appear on your bench. If you are claiming a player, you must wait for waivers to process.
ON ESPN.com FANTASY
When on your My Team page, click on the Players tab, then select Add Players on the dropdown
The default view shows ALL available players, sorted in descending order from the highest percentage rostered to least.
You can Search/Sort three additional ways:
- By Position
- Search Field
- Filter by availability, Team, Health, Watchlist
To select a player, click on the "+" symbol in the Action column. If the player is a Free Agent (available immediately) the button will be green. If the player is on Waivers (must be claimed) then the button will be yellow.
You will now need to drop a player. To do so, simply click on the Drop button then click the Continue button (top right).
Confirm the transaction. If the player is a Free Agent, the transaction will execute immediately and the new player will appear on your bench. If you are claiming a player, you must wait for waivers to process.
