In the event that a faked Field Goal attempt results in a touchdown, the points will be assigned as follows:
If the Touchdown was the result of a pass, the passer and the receiver will be awarded the number of points set for regular passing touchdowns.
If the touchdown was scored via running, the player carrying the ball into the end zone will be assigned the points for a rushing touchdown.
Example: On November 25, 2018, the Pittsburgh Steelers set up a fake field goal attempt. Pittsburgh kicker Chris Boswell completed a pass to Pittsburgh offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva that resulted in a touchdown. Boswell received points for a passing touchdown while Villaneuva received points for a receiving touchdown.
NOTE: D/ST units do not receive points, only the players involved in the play.
