The League Manager (LM) is the only person who can enable or disable Draft Pick Trading in a league.
Draft Pick Trading allows team managers to trade draft slots before the draft begins.
Example: A manager might trade their 2nd- and 3rd-round picks to another manager in exchange for that manager’s 1st-round pick.
Draft pick trades can be completed on both the ESPN Fantasy App and the web.
Note: Draft pick trades can only be made before the draft and apply only to the current season.
Enabling Draft Pick Trading
Go to LM Tools.
Select Edit Draft Settings.
Set Draft Order to Manually Set by League Manager.
Set Allow Draft Pick Trading to Yes.
Click Save Changes.
Alternative method:
Go to LM Tools.
Select Begin Draft Pick Trading.
Click Allow Draft Pick Trading and Confirm.
Disabling Draft Pick Trading
Go to LM Tools.
Select Stop Draft Pick Trading and Reset Draft Picks.
Click Confirm.
Important Note
When Draft Pick Trading is disabled:
All traded draft picks are returned to their original teams.
Any players traded along with those picks will remain on their current teams.
To move those players back, the League Manager must manually adjust rosters using LM Tools.
