If you're worried about missing your draft or getting disconnected, you can set an Auto-Pick Draft Strategy ahead of time so the system drafts according to your preferences.
Accessing Draft Strategy
You can edit your draft strategy from your main team page before the draft begins.
Click Edit Auto-Pick Strategy.
The edit page displays each round of the draft with a pulldown menu.
Choosing a Draft Strategy
For each round, you can select how the system should draft.
The default option is Best Available.
On this setting, the system drafts the highest-ranked remaining player from any position.
You can also choose a specific position.
Example:
In Fantasy Baseball (applies to all fantasy sports), selecting First Base (1B) will cause the system to draft the highest available First Baseman during that round.
Setting Position Limits
You can control how many players are drafted at each position.
This is managed in the Position Limits table on the right side of the page.
Set the minimum and maximum number of players you want drafted for each position.
Drafting by Stat
You can also instruct the system to draft based on a specific statistic.
Example:
In Fantasy Baseball (applies to all fantasy sports), selecting RBIs will prioritize players who perform best in that category.
Editing Deadline
You can edit your draft strategy any time until one hour before the scheduled draft time.
