League Types
Standard: Standard Free Leagues are 10 team standard-scoring leagues that use fixed rule settings and are managed by ESPN. Free Standard Leagues will draft players from the whole MLB Universe. That means you will be able to draft both National and American League players for your team. Standard League rosters have slots for a total of 25 players per team. Participants in ESPN Fantasy Baseball can create/join a maximum of 25 Standard Free Leagues.
League Manager (LM): League Manager Leagues use customized rule settings and are managed by one of the players in the league, known as the League Manager (LM). The League Manager is able to choose from a variety of scoring formats and rule options to create a unique Fantasy game suited to specific settings. In the League Manager game, there are a wide variety of additional scoring and rule options, like Keepers and Offline Draft, to further tailor the league settings to suit your fantasy needs. The 25-team maximum cap also applies to League Manager teams.
