Users receiving the following error message when attempting to log in to their ESPN.com account may resolve this issue by flushing the DNS cache on their browser and/or device.
If receiving an error when attempting to login to an ESPN.com account using Safari, the user should follow the below steps to be guided toward a successful login:

DNS caching on Mac devices is handled by the operating system, see “Device DNS Flushing ” below and locate the version of Apple OS X you are running.

If you are running Mac OS X 10.11, you need to follow the below steps:
Open up the command terminal.
Run the command sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
Return to ESPN.com and attempt to Log In
Mac OS X Yosemite
If you are running Mac OS X 10.10, you need to follow the below steps:
Open up the command terminal.
Run the command sudo discoveryutil udnsflushcaches
Return to ESPN.com and attempt to Log In
Mac OS X Mavericks
If you are running Mac OS X 10.9, you need to follow the below steps:
Open up the command terminal.
Run the command sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
Return to ESPN.com and attempt to Log In
Mac OS X Mountain Lion
If you are running Mac OS X 10.8, you need to follow the below steps:
Open up the command terminal.
Run the command sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
Return to ESPN.com and attempt to Log In
