By default, all League Manager Leagues are Private. This means that only members of that league can view it. League managers can set their league to public. Public leagues can be viewed by anyone at any time.
NOTE: All leagues, Public and Private, Standard and League Manager are obligated to adhere to the ESPN Rules of Conduct and Fair Play. Please review Offensive Content and Team Managers.
Important: Making your league viewable does not make it joinable. All League Manager leagues remain private — this setting only controls whether non-members can view certain pages via a shared link. It can be changed at any time during the season.
Pages non-members can view (when given a direct URL):
- League Office, Standings, Box Scores, and Team Pages.
Pages that are always private, regardless of this setting:
- The list of team managers and league message boards is never visible to non-members.
To make a League Public or Private (Web Only):
- Go to the League tab
- Click Settings
- Click Basic Settings
- Click Edit Basic Settings
- Set the public viewability option to Yes to allow non-members to view league pages when given a direct URL (such as one shared via email or a message board)
- Click on Save Changes
