The League Manager (LM) has the option of choosing the number of player signings allowed

The League Manager (LM) has the option of modifying waiver settings and player signings allowed during the season. Players added via trade do not count against any team acquisition limits.

NOTE: This setting cannot be changed after the league has drafted.

FAB waiver order is determined in the same fashion as non-FAB. If you make a waiver claim and win it, you get moved to the bottom of the waiver order list.

WAIVER OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN LM LEAGUES

No Waivers – All players will immediately become free agents after the draft or after being dropped from a team’s roster. Most teams choose to use a waiver period to make player signings fair, but this setting may be chosen if you prefer to allow roster additions for all team managers at any time. 

Waivers – If you choose this setting, players will be marked as `On Waiver’s` after the draft or after being dropped from a team’s roster. A player placed on waivers will remain on waivers for a period of time (1-4 days), during which all teams will have the opportunity to make waiver claims on that player. Then, the player will be awarded to the team with the highest waiver priority that made a claim, and the team will move to the end of the waiver order.

Free Agent Budget (Continuous) – Teams will have a specific budget with which they can submit an offer to sign a free agent. All offers will be processed in batches one or more times each week (as specified in settings). If a team manager would like to add a player, that team manager will offer a salary amount they are willing to pay. On the next waiver process day, the team manager that placed the highest offer will be awarded the player, and the salary amount will be subtracted from that team's budget. Players remain on waivers continuously and thus are always subject to being signed.

Free Agent Budget – Teams will have a specific budget with which they can offer to sign a player and all offers are processed after the league’s specified waiver period. If a team would like to add a player, that will secretly offer the salary amount they are willing to pay. On the waiver process day, the team with the highest offer will be awarded the player, and the salary amount will be subtracted from that team's budget. Players who are not claimed during offer processing become free agents available for first-come, first-serve style pickups.

NOTE: During Playoffs, if the league is set to “reset after each week”, the waiver order resets to the inverse of the regular season standings. Playoffs are not factored in.

HOW TO EDIT WAIVERS

• Click on "LM Tools" then click on "Edit League Settings"

• Click on "Transactions and Keepers" then click on the "Edit" button next to "Acquisition and Waiver Rules".
