Standard leagues are 8, 10 or 12-team standard scoring leagues that use fixed rule settings and are managed by ESPN. Standard Leagues draft players from the whole NFL Universe. That means you will be able to draft both NFC (National Football Conference) and AFC (American Football Conference) players for your team. Free Standard League rosters have slots for a total of 16 players per team. There are 9 starting slots and 7 bench slots.
League Manager (LM) leagues use customized rule settings and are managed by one of the players in the league, known as the League Manager (LM). The LM is able to choose from a variety of scoring formats and rule options to create a unique fantasy game suited to specific settings. In the League Manager version, there is a wide variety of additional scoring and rules options such as Keepers and Offline Draft.
