The Undroppable Players List is a list comprised of the top Fantasy players who can't be sent to waivers/free agency**. Without this feature, a team manager who is out of contention could drop a star player for their buddy, who is first on the waiver order, to pick up, thereby bolstering their team for the playoffs.
NOTE: The Undroppable Player List is used in all Standard Leagues.
In a League Manager League, the League Manager (LM) can turn off the Undroppable List by doing the following:
Turn off Undroppable Players List for League Manager leagues (Web Only).
NOTE: If necessary, the LM can do this temporarily. Once a player is dropped, the LM can turn it on again to prevent further drops.
- Click on the LM Tools tab
- Click on Edit League Settings
- Click on Edit next to Player Rules
- Select No next to Observe ESPN's Undroppable Player List
- Save Changes
** Please Note: If a player designated Undroppable becomes injured, this does not mean they will be automatically removed from the ESPN Undroppable List. Players are put on the list before the season begins due to their star potential. ESPN may choose not to remove a player from the list who is still expected to return at some point during the season/playoffs.
