Setting Your Lineup Overview
- Setting your lineup takes place on the My Team page
- A user can move a player from their starting lineup to the bench or from one starting slot to another
- After each move is made, changes will save automatically (web only)
- A user can set their lineup for the current week, as well as any week into the future
PLEASE NOTE: The illustrations are from ESPN Fantasy Baseball, but the steps and screen formats are identical.
On the ESPN Fantasy App
Go to your team homepage under "Roster".
Tap on "Edit Lineup".
Tap on the "Move" button next to the player you wish to move.
Tap the "Here" button next to the roster slot or player where you wish to move the selected player. If you select a slot that has a player in it, the two players will swap positions. If you choose an empty slot (EX. bench.
You must tap the "Save" button in the top right corner to execute the move.
You will see a confirmation pop-up letting you know the move was saved.
On the Web
Navigate to "My Team"
Click on "Move" next to the player whom you wish to move within your lineup
Click on the "Here" button next to the slot into which you would like to move that player. NOTE: as soon as you click "Here" the change will automatically process. If you are placing the player into an empty slot, there will be an empty slot created at that player's previous position
A green confirmation banner will appear on the bottom of the page
